UNZIPPED FOREVER SKIRT
This skirt has been created w multiple textiles to imitate the look of boxer shorts sticking out at the top. I'm intrigued by the whole "I don't care if my underwear is showing" vibe, which is super punk. I decided to do that paired w a skirt- a garment that is usually viewed as "cutesy" or "dressy," to create a balanced piece. Opposites attracting!!
Handmade IV DRIP patch on the side and lots of stitch lines to add texture. Made from Risen jeans that had a broken zipper, a satin dress, lace, and pajama pants.
This skirt has a zipper on the side to ensure that it fits over hips and snatches the waist. The skirt's button and zipper are just for looks.
